Josef Schuster

Josef Schuster (1812 - 1890) was active/lived in Austria.  Josef Schuster is known for Painting and sculpture.

Josef Schuster moved to Vienna as a young child, where his talent as a painter was discovered by chance by Joseph Mössmer (1780-1845), a professor at the Academy. At the Viennese Academy, young Schuster trained under Joseph Mössmer, Sebastian Wegmayr (1776-1857) and Franz Xaver Petter (1791-1866), in particular.
